About Me
I’m a Birmingham-based Director of Photography working across narrative film and commercial projects, with a focus on visual storytelling and crafted lighting.
I got into cameras early on, shooting on my uncle’s 35mm film cameras and becoming fascinated by how images can shape emotion and perspective. That interest led me to film school, where I was drawn to cinematography controlling light, composition and the small visual choices that give an image its tone. Since then, I’ve focused on developing both the technical and creative sides of the craft.
For me, cinematography is about shaping the visual language of a project and finding images that feel precise, atmospheric and expressive while serving the story at the centre of it.
My work has been featured on the BBC and I’ve received multiple cinematography award nominations at film festivals. I’ve also received grant funding to help develop personal projects and continue growing my practice.
Alongside freelance work, I help run Nuera Productions, a camera rental company with two Alexa Mini LF cameras and a full kit including lenses, monitoring packages and grip equipment.

I’m also a member of the Guild of Television Camera Professionals.
